Seniors Home Visits: Bringing Joy, Faith, Friendship, and Music to Silverado Creek Seniors

On Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, Cover 2 Cover will be visiting Silverado Creek Seniors, 7 Silverton Way SW, for a beautiful afternoon of music, connection, encouragement, and meaningful conversation.

The visit, themed “Connections: A digital and social journey for seniors,” is more than just a musical program. It is a heartfelt opportunity to remind seniors that they are loved, valued, and remembered. Through songs, smiles, conversation, and fellowship, the team will create moments that bring warmth to the heart and joy to the room.

From 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the seniors will enjoy a rich selection of familiar, uplifting, and joyful songs. The program will begin with the beloved classic “You Are My Sunshine,” setting a cheerful and comforting tone for the event. This will be followed by introductions from the team, special songs, dancing music, inspirational pieces, and a closing vote of thanks.

The music program includes songs such as Sweet Mother, Keep Moving, The Twist, Happy Wanderer, Dancing Queen, Hello, My Favourite Things, Coat of Many Colours, Edelweiss, Can’t Help Falling in Love, What a Wonderful World, and You Raise Me Up. These songs have been carefully chosen to bring back memories, encourage participation, and create a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can sing along, clap, smile, and feel connected.

One of the highlights of the visit will be the variety of voices and personalities involved. Special performances by Dr. Crown, Mummy Victoria and Enendu, and Daddy Elegbeleye will add warmth and cultural richness to the gathering. The program will also include a short charge and words of encouragement, reminding everyone that music has the power to heal, inspire, and unite people across generations.

At its heart, this event is about presence. It is about showing up for seniors, sharing time with them, and letting them know that their stories, smiles, and lives matter. Many seniors deeply appreciate moments of companionship, and this visit is designed to bring not only entertainment but also genuine human connection.

As the Cover 2 Cover message says: “We visit. We sing. We connect from the heart.” This simple mission captures the spirit of the day perfectly. The goal is not only to perform songs but to build bridges of friendship, faith, and community.

The event will close with a vote of thanks by Sogo, leaving everyone with a sense of gratitude and joy. By the end of the visit, the hope is that every senior in the room will feel encouraged, remembered, and deeply connected.

Because every senior deserves to feel connected. Together, we create moments that matter.
